JIA supports educational activities following the UNESCO/UIA Charter Built Environment Education for Children and Young People, based on the Convention on the Rights of the Child. While creating the Japanese translation of the Charter, a picture book was created to convey the Charterʼs essence.

Golden Cubes Awards
JIA Golden Cubes Awards recognizes BEE activities within and outside JIA and recommends them for the UIA Golden Cubes Awards. Japan's recommendation activities won the Institutions Award in 2014, the Schools Award in 2023, and a special mention in the Written Media category in 2023.
